The Apple Valley 3rd Addition Neighborhoods were developed in the beginning of the 1960s. Street pavement throughout the neighborhood is deteriorating rapidly and becoming more costly to repair. The City is also encountering problems with the aging sanitary sewer and water distribution systems as well as deficient storm systems within this area. Annual sewer cleaning is no longer adequate to control root intrusion into the system and prevent potential sewer backups.
The City of Apple Valley 2022 Capital Improvement Program Identifies potential utility replacement and street reconstruction work on Redwood Drive and Juniper Lane. The scope of work includes total replacement of approx. 2,750 linear feet of sanitary sewer, water main and storm sewer and street reconstruction. Sidewalks are NOT included as part of the project.
Please note, the 2022 project area has been modified. Juniper Ln will be removed from the 2022 construction project and moved to the 2023 construction season.
